Castlemaine Slate & Stone

Completely unique to Yarrabee, Castlemaine slate is highly adaptable and easy to work with. It is suitable for a variety of applications around the home, from paving and cladding to landscaping and wall construction.

Bluestone

Renowned for its timeless appearance and ease of maintenance, we have the best quality bluestone in Melbourne - our PR Premium Bluestone. Unlike many cheaper Chinese Bluestone, this Bluestone also from China has all the mineral and strength properties of Australian Bluestone.

Limestone

The subtle tones, textures and finishes of our huge limestone range provide a character that no other natural stone can match. We have a variety of colours available, from sandy tones through taupes, golds and greys to the stunning off white “Aspen” limestone.

Granite

Known for being amongst the hardest pavers on the market, granite is a popular choice due to its resistance to abrasions and scratching. The flamed finish will provide a slip safe environment, especially important when used around a pool.

Porphyry

An extremely durable and hard wearing stone, Italian Porphyry will suit almost any application you can think of (from outdoor entertaining areas and driveways to large scale commercial applications to name a few).

Travertine

Our travertine is sourced direct from Turkey and is a highly attractive choice for many applications. We have three colour options to choose from - Classic, Noce and Silver - all are tumbled & unfilled for a natural look and good slip resistance.

Quartz

An extremely hard stone that delivers unparalleled slip resistance, quartz is especially suited to outdoor applications, from pool surrounds and outdoor entertaining areas to driveways and pathways.

Sandstone

Available in a variety of shapes and sizes, Yarrabee’s Desert Sand sandstone is a particularly good choice for swimming pool areas due to its slip resistance and salt tolerance. Get that “beach” vibe around your pool!

Slate

The multicolour effect inherent in many slates can add a very “natural” feel to an indoor area. Some random slate options also provide colour and texture for outdoor applications while others like Mintaro Slate split more cleanly and are more uniform in colour. Gabion Baskets

An attractive option for retaining walls or as a garden feature, gabion baskets are steel mesh baskets that are filled with your choice of natural stone. We can supply both the baskets (in a variety of sizes) and Castlemaine Gabion Stone to fill them.
